For my final project I had to research and find something that could improve the amount of people visiting the local city of Doetinchem. According to research the city of Doetinchem misses a lot of (permanent) activities for kids. This is the reason why the final project is centered around this target audience.
To improve the amount of visitors of Doetinchem FantaStedia was made. FantaSteda is a mixed reality game that challenges kids to use their surroundings to finish puzzles or quests. The theme of FantaStedia is centered around defeating or helping monsters. FantaStedia was created in a way so that kids can choose their own narrative in this way. This is because FantaStedia targets a large variety of kids from 4 to 12 years old.
To realize FantaStedia a Game Design document and prototype were created. The prototype is created with the help of the Unity game engine.
